Edelfeldt, Inger

Inger Edelfeldt is a multi-award-winning author and illustrator born and raised in the Stockholm suburb of Hässelby. Her father was an engineer and her mother a homemaker. Her life has been informed by her being born many years after her siblings. The family was unable to cope, her father suffered from depression and her mother struggled with boundaries. Edelfeldt always felt she was "in the way". After leaving the education system she has taken various courses in life-drawing, drama and languages.
