Mattson, Ellen

Ellen Mattson was born in Uddevalla in the county of Bohuslän, western Sweden, where she grew up in the countryside south of the town, close to where she still lives near Ljungskile. Her mother was a primary school teacher and her father, Olle Mattson, was a children and young adult author. His best-known novel is Briggen Tre liljor.
