Voors, Barbara

Barbara Voors was born in Stockholm and grew up in Tehran, Iran, with her Swedish mother, who worked at the Swedish Embassy, and Dutch father, who worked for Business Sweden. They were forced to leave Iran in 1979, when Voors was eleven years old. Voors has said that it was because of her background that she became an author. She now lives in Stockholm with her husband and two children.
